UI-design for
App for foodies

Crowd-based restaurant finders rely on very subjective ratings, which can make them inaccurate. Trendy spots are often overlooked because they are known only to locals. Information about popular places is scattered across the internet, making it difficult to find and compare them.

The goal was to create a restaurant and bar finder that leverages the expertise of local guides, avoiding the subjective and superficial ratings from the crowd. The app provides the insights of professional restaurant bloggers to food lovers unfamiliar with the area.

Food bloggers can expand their reach and gain more followers, while app users receive high-quality recommendations from local experts and discover new blogs.

My task was to design the app's user interface and optimize the user journey by creating a prototype.

UI Design

UI (User Interface) design is the process of creating the visual elements and interactive aspects of an application or website. It focuses on the layout, color schemes, typography, icons, and overall aesthetics to ensure an intuitive and engaging user experience. The goal of UI design is to make the interface easy to use, visually appealing, and aligned with the brand's identity.

App Prototyping

App prototyping involves creating a preliminary version of an app to visualize and test its functionality, flow, and design. Prototypes range from simple wireframes to interactive models that simulate the user experience. This process helps designers and developers refine the app’s features, identify potential issues, and make necessary adjustments before full-scale development begins.
